Alana Van Paassen
Owner and Head Coach
Alana Van Paassen specializes in training both horse and rider for Eventing, Hunter/Jumper and Dressage. She currently has students showing on the A circuit, at OHTA events and at the schooling show level, on top of teaching students who enjoy pleasure riding at home. Alana herself, is an upper level event rider who before retiring her mount, won the year end highpoint Preliminary Championship for 2009 and won the Preliminary championships the same year. In the past 2 years, Alana has been undefeated at OEA sanctioned events with her new mount, Brego.
Alana knows the importance of fun, goal driven, quality coaching. Alana helps riders learn to read and understand their horse in order to communicate effectively and problem solve. She focuses on solid basics to produce confident, safe and happy horse and rider combinations.
